Deconstructing an image

Material(s) - Light
Aesthetic qualities - This image today would be sublime. One wants to study what the women is looking at and read what all the words say.
Subject matter - The text in the middle of the image simple state's the company's name "Weight Watchers"
Composition - The focal points are the two doors. The colors all seem very sublime adding to the simplicity of the picture.
Formal elements -The lines and form are 3 dimensional. The negative area is the mint green walls surrounding the doors. This negative space frames the doors to draw one in further to read the text.
Lighting - The light looks like it is coming from the mid bottom 1/3 of the picture This draws emphasis on the two doors and how they are different sizes.
Dimension - The dimension is only around 11" as I am looking at it from my laptop screen

Display - On my laptop.
The contemporary Weight Watcher's ad is simple yet complex. It is not flashy with a lot of words and colors but just simply states "Weight Watchers." The two different door sizes make the consumer think deeper about the message in the ad. The colors make the ad feel cozy and comfortable leading the consumer to think the weight loss experience through this company will be the same.
